Join our Life Risk Management team and play a pivotal role in independent risk oversight, product reviews, and strategic decision-making across Life, Health, and Bank Distribution business lines. As a Senior Insurance Risk Analyst – Life, you will deliver independent challenge, risk insights, and actuarial analysis across our Life portfolio. Working alongside senior actuaries and regional teams, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of key processes while continuously developing your risk expertise.


What you will do

 

  • Risk Deep Dives & Analysis: Conduct risk-based reviews on Life Insurance topics, including product development, pricing, underwriting, claims, and reinsurance strategies.
  • Decision Support & Challenge: Provide independent risk input and constructive challenge into key Life decision processes, such as product approvals and assumption reviews.
  • Quarterly Risk Oversight: Coordinate and deliver the Life input for the Quarterly Risk Report (QRR), gathering regional risk updates and translating data into actionable risk insights.
  • Governance & Alignment: Support the evolution of Life Risk Governance in close collaboration with Group, Regional, and local risk teams.
  • Data Insights: Analyze complex data trends across systems to identify emerging risk areas requiring further deep-dive evaluation.

 

 

What you bring

 

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
  • Actuarial Qualification: Newly or recently qualified actuary (SAV, IFoA, DAV, or equivalent) OR equivalent hands-on experience in an actuarial role.
  • Relevant Experience: Ideally 5 years of professional experience in Life Insurance (actuarial, risk management, product development, or pricing).
  • Analytical Mindset: Good understanding of risk management frameworks, with strong problem-solving and analytical judgment.
  • Collaborative & Agile: Proven ability to work independently on core tasks while collaborating effectively across diverse cultures and senior stakeholders.
  • Languages: Fluent in English (spoken and written).
